Provides leadership for the district's College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) and Advanced Academics portfolio, ensuring a coherent, outcomes-driven system that prepares all students for postsecondary success. Oversees the design, alignment, and performance of key divisions, including Career Pathways and Industry-Based Certifications;
Early College, Dual Credit, and TSI Readiness;
Advanced Academics and Gifted and Talented; and JROTC and Military Readiness.
Ensures all programs are aligned to state accountability expectations and Outcomes-Based Funding (OBF), and that students are intentionally placed into rigorous pathways, persist, and successfully complete them. Drives systemwide coherence across programs, eliminates fragmented offerings, and ensures strong alignment between instruction, advising, and postsecondary outcomes.
Supervises Directors and holds the division accountable for measurable CCMR outcomes at scale, including college readiness, credential attainment, advanced academic success, and military readiness, in alignment with the district's strategic priorities and commitment to economic mobility for all students.
Essential Job Functions- Provides direction for the district's CCMR and Advanced Academics portfolio, ensuring alignment to district priorities, state accountability systems, and student outcome goals.
- Oversees the design, alignment, and continuous improvement of Career Pathways and Industry-Based Certifications;
Early College, Dual Credit, and TSI Readiness;
Advanced Academics and Gifted and Talented; and JROTC and Military Readiness. - Ensures all programs operate as a coherent, outcomes-driven system, aligned to postsecondary success and economic mobility, eliminating fragmented or low-impact offerings.
- Owns district performance on CCMR indicators and Outcomes-Based Funding (OBF), including college readiness, credential attainment, advanced academic success, and military readiness.
- Uses student-level and system-level data to identify trends, gaps, and risks, and directs systemwide action to improve outcomes at scale.
- Establishes performance systems to ensure students are intentionally placed into pathways, persist, and successfully complete them.
- Establishes and oversees data systems and routines that enable real-time identification of gaps in CCMR performance and ensures timely, targeted action to improve student outcomes.
- Directs strategies to improve access, equity, recruitment, retention, and completion across all CCMR and Advanced Academics pathways.
- Ensures consistent implementation, fidelity, and quality across campuses through clear expectations, monitoring systems, and accountability structures.
- Supervises, develops, and evaluates Directors, ensuring strong execution, performance management, and a high-performance culture focused on results and continuous improvement.
- Aligns work across departments to ensure coordination between instruction, advising, and postsecondary pathways.
- Directs cross-functional collaboration with Curriculum & Instruction and other departments to ensure alignment between instructional materials, teaching practices, and CCMR outcomes.
- Engages instructional staff in evaluating and selecting tools and materials aligned to rigorous pathway implementation and student success.
- Ensures the design and delivery of high-quality professional learning, including support for teachers and pathway-aligned instructional practices.
- Develops, establishes, and maintains partnerships with higher education institutions, workforce partners, and community stakeholders to strengthen pathways and expand student opportunities.
- Ensures compliance with PEIMS, state accountability requirements, grant requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations, aligned to program goals and outcomes.
- Oversees data systems, reporting, and documentation to ensure accuracy, transparency, and alignment to accountability expectations.
- Directs development and management of budgets, staffing, and resources aligned to CCMR and Advanced Academics priorities.
- Oversees procurement and allocation of program resources to ensure effective implementation across campuses.
- Participates in district-level decision-making to establish and monitor strategic goals and long-range plans for instructional programs and postsecondary readiness.
- Communicates progress, outcomes, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Maintains strong relationships with principals, teachers, staff, parents, and community partners to support program success.
