Special Instructions to Applicant: Camp will run from 7/6 - 7/23/2026. Instructional Assistant will report 1-2 weeks before and after for set up and tear down as needed.
Job Summary: This role is responsible for performing a variety of clerical and office duties and tasks to assist instructional faculty, staff, students and visitors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Maintains student records and files and reproduces class materials
- Maintains inventory of supplies
- Receives visitors and answers phone
- Organizes and maintains test files
- Administers and grades examinations
- Prepares reports and responds to requests for information
- Explains and demonstrates machines used in the area
- Assists students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts
- Maintains equipment and materials used within the department and maintains room in clean, orderly manner and provides strict security and accountability
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
- Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
- Works under the general supervision of the assigned campus leader

RequiredMinimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- One (1) year working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements
- At least one (1) successfully completed course in the specialized field being supported
Skills and Abilities
- Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships
- Skilled using computer applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
