Position Purpose
Deliver Rigorous, Standards-Based Instruction To Promote Intellectual, Social, And Physical Growth For All Students, Ensuring Individual Access To Accelerated Learning And Preparation For Global Competitiveness.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Instructional Excellence
- Teach District Curriculum Using Well-Designed, Standards-Aligned Lesson Plans.
- Employ Rigorous Instructional Strategies And Project-Based Learning To Foster Collaboration, Creativity, And Critical Thinking.
- Differentiate Instruction To Meet Diverse Learning Needs And Styles.
- Utilize A Variety Of Instructional Media And Techniques Appropriate To Student Capabilities.
Assessment And Data
- Assess Student Mastery Using Multiple Tools:
Formative Assessments, Performance Tasks, Standardized Tests, And Observations. - Maintain Accurate Records Of Student Progress, Attendance, Grades, And Assessment Data.
- Monitor And Proctor Standardized Tests;
Manage Test Materials And Data Securely.
Classroom And Behavior Management
- Establish And Maintain Effective Classroom Management And Discipline Strategies.
- Monitor Student Behavior In Classrooms, Hallways, And Assigned Duty Stations.
- Create A Learning Environment That Is Safe, Inclusive, And Conducive To Academic Success.
Family And Community Engagement
- Initiate And Maintain Open Communication With Parents And Families Regarding Academic And Behavioral Progress.
- Participate In School Events, Open Houses, And Parent-Teacher Conferences.
- Interpret And Promote The School's Educational Programs To The Community.
Professional Collaboration And Growth
- Collaborate With Peers, Serve On Committees, And Contribute To Curriculum Development.
- Attend District And Campus Professional Development Activities.

Additional Responsibilities
- Supervise And Evaluate Aides, Volunteers, And Student Teachers As Applicable.
- Refer Students For Evaluation By District Specialists When Needed.
- Perform Other Duties As Assigned, Including Supplemental Assignments Under Special Revenue Or Compensatory Education Funds.
