Job Overview
$100,000/year W2 salary with weekly pay; health, dental, and vision benefits begin day one.
On‑site role at an Alpha campus located in Phoenix, AZ;
Oklahoma City, OK;
Tulsa, OK;
Nashville, TN;
Austin, TX;
Fort Worth, TX;
Houston, TX; or Park City (Salt Lake City), UT. Relocation assistance available.
You are not here to teach. You are here to motivate. The most impactful thing you can do for a six‑year‑old who reaches 99% of their target is to insist it’s not finished.
What You Will Be Doing- Facilitate one‑hour life‑skills workshops for groups of 10‑15 K‑3 students covering public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange, and other foundational competencies.
- Conduct daily 1:1 and small‑group coaching sessions to maintain momentum toward weekly app targets, leveraging Coachbot analytics and Alpha’s reward structures.
- Deliver the Test2
Pass (Alpha’s mastery assessment) for every life skill, and coach students who do not pass on their first attempt until they achieve mastery. - Engage kindergarteners with songs, storytelling, physical activity, and humor while maintaining rigorous, trackable expectations for second and third graders.
- Serve as the warm, trusted adult children are excited to see at morning arrival and the adult who won’t allow them to settle for less than their best.
- Deliver whiteboard lectures; academic content is delivered through the apps, not by you.
- Develop curriculum from the ground up;
Alpha supplies the operational framework and you animate it. - Passively monitor kids on computers; motivation in this role is active, individualized, and persistent.
- Adjust a weekly target downward so a child can meet it; when a student falls behind, the solution is to support the student, not lower the bar.
- Grade assignments, facilitate standardized test preparation, or handle parent outreach;
Campus Leads manage parent communication, and the rest simply doesn’t exist in this model.
Key Responsibilities
Guarantee that every student in your K‑3 cohort completes their weekly learning targets, achieves mastery in each life skill, and finishes the year reporting that they loved you.
