Overview

Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, providing vital support across several school campuses in the Fort Worth area. This role offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population, primarily at the elementary level with some engagement at the middle school level. The position begins August 10, 2026, and carries through the academic year until May 21, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 35 hours and an itinerant assignment across five schools.

Ideal candidates are passionate about fostering student success and have expertise in conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing targeted intervention plans related to AU, ED, and OHI, including ADHD.

Responsibilities
  • Travel across assigned elementary and middle school campuses to manage evaluations and develop service plans
  • Complete ADHD assessments, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), and design Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Deliver direct psychological services to students, supporting their educational and emotional needs
  • Work collaboratively with educational staff to support individualized education plans and student well-being
  • Provide professional guidance and recommendations for optimal student progress
Qualifications
  • Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
  • Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency strongly preferred
  • Prior experience within school settings is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, faculty, and families
