2025 - 2026 Instructional Aide I - SPED-CM/RES/INCL
OverviewThis position will be working with students who may have moderate to severe delays. Help special education teacher provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a special education setting. Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self‑help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of the principal and immediate direction of a certified teacher.
Qualifications- Associate’s degree or at least 48 hours of college coursework completed (an unofficial college transcript will be required prior to hiring).
- Ability to work with children with disabilities.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of general office equipment.
- Some experience working with children.
Starting Salary Range: $23,263 - $28,185. Work Calendar: 187 days. Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience. Salary will be adjusted to the start date.
