This position will be working with students who may have moderate to severe delays. Help special education teacher provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in special education setting. Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher.
QualificationEducation/Certification:
Associates degree or at least 48 hours of college coursework completed (unofficial college transcript will be required prior to hiring).
- Ability to work with children with disabilities
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of general office equipment
- Some experience working with children
Minimum salary $22,440 /187 days (2024/2025 Compensation Plan). Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience.
