Instructional Aide II SPED – RISE (Job ) Description
This position will be working with students who may have moderate to severe delays. The role supports a special education teacher by providing physical and instructional support to students with disabilities in a special education setting. Responsibilities include implementing classroom programs, including self‑help, behavior management, and instruction programs, and working under the general supervision of the principal and the direct instruction of the certified teacher.
Qualifications- Education/Certification: Associate’s degree or at least 48 hours of college coursework completed (an unofficial college transcript will be required prior to hiring) and a valid Texas educational aide certificate.

Skills:
Ability to work with children with disabilities; ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ability to communicate effectively; knowledge of general office equipment; bilingual preferred. - Experience: Some experience working with children.
Starting salary range: $24,041 – $29,112. Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience. Salary will be adjusted to reflect the amount of days left in your calendar for this school year. Work calendar: 187 days.
