Position Overview

• On‑site at Alpha's Central Houston, South Houston, or The Woodlands campuses (relocation assistance available)
• Annual salary: $100,000, paid weekly
• Full health, dental, and vision coverage begins on day one
• Full‑time, 40 hours per week; position requires an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as Contractor of Record

Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Students complete a full academic day in approximately two hours using adaptive software—no traditional lectures or textbooks involved.

• Facilitating one‑hour life skills workshops for Pre‑K–8 students covering public speaking, concentration, teamwork, and feedback skills through hands‑on, project‑oriented methods.
• Conducting daily individual and small‑group motivational sessions to analyze student performance in adaptive platforms (utilizing Coachbot analytics), establish objectives, and ensure 100% weekly target achievement.
• Overseeing and assessing Test2
  
  Pass evaluations to verify genuine life‑skill mastery rather than simple participation.
• Adapting your coaching approach across diverse age groups, from Pre‑K learners requiring energetic, movement‑based engagement to 8th graders needing direct accountability conversations.
• Cultivating authentic connections with each student to establish trust that enables effective coaching through resistance, distraction, and uncertainty.

• Providing lectures or conventional academic instruction (core academic content is delivered through adaptive applications, not by you).
• Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum independently (Alpha supplies life‑skills frameworks; your role is executing them with energy and narrative skill).
• Handling parent communications or administrative duties (Campus Leads manage these areas; your focus remains on students).
• Evaluating homework or conducting standardized test preparation (these elements do not exist in this model).
• Operating independently (you’re integrated into a campus team including Lead Guides, Campus Leads, and colleagues who provide mutual feedback and accountability).

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 3+ years of direct experience with Pre‑K–8 students (in teaching, coaching, counseling, or youth program management roles).
• Demonstrated experience motivating or coaching Pre‑K–8 students toward academic, behavioral, or extracurricular objectives, with at least one concrete example you can articulate (including the objective, your specific actions, and the result achieved).
• Regular use of generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude.
• Able to work on‑site at Alpha’s Central Houston, South Houston, or The Woodlands campus (relocation assistance provided).
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

• Background in youth sports coaching, camp direction, or after‑school programs where you held direct responsibility for motivating children toward specific objectives.
• History of significant personal accomplishment (academic distinctions, competitive sports, or leadership positions requiring sustained high performance).
• Innate storytelling capability: you can maintain the attention of a room full of 12‑year‑olds for an hour without elevating your voice.
• Success motivating disengaged or reluctant students and converting them into active participants.
