Guest Teacher (Substitute Teacher)

Every successful school day starts with a caring adult in the classroom. As a Guest Teacher with White Settlement ISD, you'll play an important role in supporting students and teachers by providing a positive learning environment whenever a classroom teacher is absent.

Guest Teachers are expected to:

• Carry out lesson plans left by the classroom teacher.
• Foster a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment.
• Supervise students throughout the instructional day.
• Maintain classroom routines and expectations.
• Report attendance and communicate important information to campus staff.
• Leave notes regarding the day's activities for the classroom teacher.
• Follow all district policies, procedures, and campus expectations.

• High school diploma required.
• Additional education preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with students and staff.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Must successfully complete all district hiring requirements, including background screening

Less than 60 college hours or HS diploma - $95

60+ college hours - $105

Additional Monthly Bonus Pay

Work at least 5 days a month - $50 Bonus
- Average $115 day

Work at least 10 days a month - $125 Bonus
- Average $117.50 day

Work at least 15 days a month - $200 Bonus
- Average $118.33 day
