Life Skills Coach/Career Advisor, School Counseling & Student Support, Youth Development
The kindest thing you can do for a child who achieved 99% of their target is to make clear it's not complete. If that philosophy unsettles you, this position won't be a fit. If it energizes you—because you understand that upholding standards is the clearest way to communicate belief in a student's capability—continue reading.
Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Students complete a full day's worth of academics in roughly two hours using adaptive technology. No classroom lectures. No traditional textbooks.
Your role centers on what technology cannot replicate: guiding Pre-K through 8th grade students in essential life competencies including public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback exchange. You ll spend half your time facilitating hands-on workshops guided by structured content and narrative techniques. The remaining half involves working with students individually or in small groups, analyzing their adaptive learning performance through Coachbot analytics, and driving them to reach 100% of weekly objectives.
Mastery is validated through Test2
Pass assessments, not participation metrics.
During your first year, you ll take ownership of a student cohort and become fluent in Alpha s operational model: life skills workshops, motivational coaching sessions, and mastery-validated assessments. Once you demonstrate consistent ability to guide every student to 100% goal completion while maintaining satisfaction ratings above 90%, advancement to Lead Guide becomes accessible—a role where you mentor fellow Guides while remaining engaged with students.
Those who excel in this position don t merely influence individual trajectories; they define campus-wide culture.
If you ve invested years coaching, counseling, or mentoring young people and wanted to eliminate traditional instruction in favor of genuine developmental support, this is that opportunity.

- Overseeing and assessing Test2

- Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum independently (Alpha supplies life skills frameworks; your responsibility is executing them with enthusiasm and narrative skill)
- Handling parent communications or administrative functions (Campus Leads manage these areas; your attention remains with students)
- Evaluating homework or coordinating standardized test preparation (these elements don t exist in Alpha s model)
- Operating independently (you re integrated into a campus team alongside Lead Guides, Campus Leads, and colleagues who exchange feedback and mutual accountability)
