We need volunteers to assist instructors in summer camps.
The Refugee Services School Impact Program has a need for volunteers to assist instructors in summer camps. Responsibilities may include assistance with attendance, snack distribution, crafts, literacy instruction, and classroom management. Class locations will be off site in apartment complex clubhouses. Training is provided for volunteers. Each session is hosted by a CCFW staff member who is available for guidance during the session.
We are seeking volunteers who enjoy working with students who are new to learning English or are learning basic reading skills. No teaching background required.

- Attend a Volunteer Orientation
- Complete volunteer paperwork and pass a background check
- Willing to serve at least two or more sessions per week (same days and time each week) in June and July
- Attend Safe Environment training with the Diocese of Fort Worth
