Job Summary:
This role is responsible for coordinating instructional design,course development, faculty training, and instructional program support for Tarrant County College’s Adult Education and Literacy(AEL) program.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:- Coordinates instructional design and course development projects from inception to completion, including development of instructional strategies, course materials, assessments, andsyllabi for AEL class types
- Provides instructional design, course development, and training support to AEL faculty and instructional staff
- Ensures instructional materials and curriculum align with Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) AEL Content Standards and applicableprogram requirements
- Designs, develops, facilitates, and maintains training curriculumfor TCC AEL instructors
- Researches, recommends, and integrates learning technologies and platforms into curriculum and instructional practices, such as Canvas, Burlington English, Essential Education, and Aztec
- Conducts regular classroom observation and provides constructive feedback to instructors
- Analyzes performance data from TEAMS for instructional and program improvement
- Collaborates with AEL Program leadership to evaluate and recommend instructional materials and support instructional program needs
- Maintains regular communication with career pathway programs,instructional staff, and external partners to support alignment ofAEL instruction with program and workforce needs
- Provides the TCC AEL Program Manager with regular updates oninstructional design, course development, and related programprojects
- Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the essentialperformance requirements
- Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
- Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
- Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Works under the general supervision of the Director, Educational Outreach and AEL Program Manager

RequiredMinimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Two (2) years' working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements, which must include secondary orpost-secondary teaching experience
- Two (2) years’ working experience of online secondary orpost-secondary teaching
- At least one (1) year’s working experience with proprietarylearning technology solutions (Burlington English, Essential Education, Aztec and Connect Able)
- At least one (1) year’s working experience with learning management systems (Canvas)
- At least one (1) year’s working experience with Texas Educating Adults Management System (TEAMS)
- Knowledge of research methodologies and techniques, processes and standards for planning and implementing instructional design and development, instructional technology and non-technology media and materials development and implementation principles
- Knowledge of Learning Theory, instructional strategies,curriculum standards, and assessments, including Texas AEL Content Standards
