Who You'll Work With At Design Group, you'll collaborate with experienced leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to solve complex challenges for some of the world's leading companies. What You'll Do- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and electrical engineers under the direction of registered architects
- Develop architectural design solutions for manufacturing, distribution, industrial, and commercial facilities
- Support capital projects by translating client requirements into practical facility design solutions
- Define facility program requirements in collaboration with project teams and clients
- Conduct code research specific to project sites and incorporate findings into design documentation
- Create floor plans, code summaries, scoping documents, and renderings
- Deliver consistent and accurate work that supports high-quality client outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Academic, internship, co-op, part-time, full-time, or project experience related to architecture, facility design, engineering, consulting, construction management, or drafting
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word through academic or professional experience
- Ability to travel for project requirements, including installation and start-up activities, client and company-sponsored meetings, training, seminars, forums, and conventions
- Leadership or participation in campus or community service activities
- Experience designing manufacturing or distribution facilities for food and beverage, pharmaceutical and life sciences, or consumer products clients
- Engineer-in-Training licensure or progress toward applicable professional architectural licensure
The approximate pay range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location of the position.
