We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to take a leading role in delivering innovative power and utility solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.
This is a high-impact position offering the opportunity to lead and mentor engineering teams, partner closely with clients, and contribute to business development and strategic growth efforts. You’ll work across the full project lifecycle—from early concept development through detailed design and execution—on complex, mission-critical energy projects.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE)
- 10+ years of professional electrical engineering experience
- Strong background in utility-scale and power-related projects
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (any U.S. state)
- OR ability to obtain licensure within one year
- Willingness to work hybrid and travel as needed
- Lead and oversee electrical engineering teams delivering advisory and design services
- Develop concept-level electrical and power system solutions and bring them through detailed design and execution
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients across public and private market sectors
- Collaborate with account managers and sales teams on strategic pursuits and proposals
- Support business growth initiatives, including proposal development and scope/manhour estimates
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineering staff
- Anticipate technical and project challenges while supporting complex, multi-disciplinary project teams
Highly regarded candidates will bring experience in one or more of the following:
- Power distribution systems and microgrids
- High Voltage (HV) or Medium Voltage (MV) substations
- Renewable energy projects (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, etc.)
- Power system modeling (SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar)
- Protection & Control, SCADA, or power system automation
- Campus utility master planning or decarbonization/climate response planning
- Cogeneration or combined heat and power (CHP) systems
- Thermal utility plants and distribution systems (steam, hot water, chilled water)
- Hybrid work model: minimum 2 days onsite per week (office or client site)
- Office alignment required with Fort Worth, TX
- Travel as needed to support projects (typically less than 25%)
- Fully remote candidates will not be considered
