Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Engineer - PM (PE) to join our growing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a broad range of projects in the engineering industry, with a specific focus on land development, drainage, site and water and road systems. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong ability to communicate with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design and development of land development, drainage, site, roadway, and water systems.
- Conducting detailed civil design and analysis to ensure the success of projects.
- Managing and coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs, address their concerns, and keep them informed of project progress.
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers and team members.
- Identifying potential project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Continually updating knowledge and staying abreast of latest industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on wastewater systems, drainage, site, and water systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proven experience in civil design and project management.
- Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Open Roads, etc.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering projects.
