Inter Connect Wiring, founded in 1993, is the leading manufacturer of electrical wiring harnesses and avionics panels for Aerospace and Defense (A&D) such as the F-15, F-16, F-22, C-130 and vertical lift aircraft. Inter Connect also manufactures sheet metal parts for aviation application. With decades of experience, we support aircraft modernization, sustainment, and production for an aircraft’s Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS).

• Understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes (cutting, bending, spot welding) and machinery (CNC, Mill, Router, Punch, Brake, CMM)
• Write outlines defining specific product requirements for sales to quote, and for engineering and manufacturing to execute in production
• Translate technical information from prints and models into a format that is understandable for sales and the production teams

• Customer engagement
• Support the sales team in preparing accurate and competitive quotes
• Accompany business development on visits to customer sites to identify and understand customer needs
• Assist the sales team with technical product knowledge, material selection, pricing and manufacturing capabilities
• Collaboration
• Point of contact for sales and business development on technical questions
• Bridge the gap between sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure accurate technical information is shared
• Coordinate with engineering, sales and business development to thoroughly understand internal capabilities and company goals
• Ability to maintain sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Assist company with NADCAP including maintaining merit status

• 3+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and design
• 3+ years or technical sales support in related field
• Familiarity with typical machinery such as mills, punches, and press brakes
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of NADCAP, ISO and AS quality standards
• Preferred:
  Background in cost estimation or aerospace manufacturing
