Description:
We are Lockheed Martin This position is for a Flight Test Instrumentation Operations Engineer and System Designer. The selected candidate will participate in the development and operational efforts for the F-16 and F-22 lines of business. Primarily function as Instrumentation Operations Engineer at Fort Worth supporting test sites and local activities. Tasks will include developing instrumentation requirements, schedules, resolving equipment and sensors selection problems and detailed system design of the instrumentation data acquisition system.
Develops system software/programming for proper operation and data collection. Supports lab checkout required to resolve instrumentation data acquisition anomalies. Supports daily flight test operations by assuring a test ready instrumentation system. Interacts with flight test engineers and other test engineering disciplines involved in scheduling, testing and troubleshooting during developmental aircraft flight testing. Works across engineering, maintenance, and logistics function teams, and communicates instrumentation issues and status across these teams.
Selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified materials.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related discipline
• Experience with reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• Experience with Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) theory
• Operational experience with Instrumentation systems
• Experience with digital data acquisition systems
Desired
Skills:
• Experience with digital/analog circuits, RF applications, digital/analog video, data recording/storage (Chapter 10), sensors applications
• Familiar with sensor technology utilized in the test of aircraft structures (loads and vibration) and vehicle subsystems (environmental control systems, flight controls, propulsion, and aerodynamics).
• Familiar with fighter aircraft technical data, maintenance practices, flight operations, and weapons
• Strong communication, leadership, and people skills with the ability to work in an engineering and technician environment
• Experience with Project Management, IFG Aircraft/Program Knowledge, Electrical Design (CATIA V5), ADMS, Parts Warehouse, Service
FLO, JEDI
Security Clearance Statement:

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
