Civil Design Engineer

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Civil Design Engineer or Assistant Project Manager located in Fort Worth, TX for Site Development (commercial) projects
. The individual will work collaboratively with a team to ensure consistent project quality and client satisfaction.

• Develop site designs (grading, drainage, utilities, paving) with minimal oversight.
• Create and finalize designs of water, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer systems using local criteria and common engineering design equations.
• Produce complete plan sets and technical exhibits with minimal oversight.
• Prepare drainage studies, utility analyses, hydraulic designs, and other supporting calculations.
• Identify design conflicts and propose practical solutions proactively.
• Incorporate constructability considerations into design decisions.
• Coordinate on technical topics with clients, city staff, consultants, and contractors.
• Review work completed by Design Engineers or Design staff and provide feedback.
• Ensure timely responses to city comments, internal requests, and coordination.
• Assist with construction administration documentation such as RFIs, clarifications and product submittals.
• Support PMs with submittals, documentation, and schedule coordination.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Preferred:
  Professional Engineering (PE) license or working toward licensure
• 2-5 years of relevant civil engineering experience with focus on site development
• Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering concepts
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software and tools
