We are seeking a Magnetic and Motor Design Manager to lead our electromagnetic systems development team. This role requires technical mastery in electromagnetic theory combined with practical experience in manufacturing and test of magnetics and motors. The ideal candidate will be a recognized magnetic design expert who bridges design excellence with manufacturing reality, ensuring all designs are producible at scale while meeting aerospace requirements and maintaining rigorous configuration control.
RequiredSkills & Experience
- Core Expertise:
Motor magnetic designs, mechanical designs, motor control systems. - Tools:
Motor
CAD (primary - now part of ANSYS suite), Maxwell (ANSYS), Speed (limited use). - Experience Level: 10+ years minimum.
- Industry Background:
Aerospace preferred, but strong industrial candidates considered. - Hands‑on Work:
Must perform actual design work, not just management.
