Security Engineer with Quest Tools Experience
Contract
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.
8-10 years of related systems engineering experience.
MCSE or MCITP with 5 years minimum experience as a Quest Active Roles server administrator, Windows Server 2008/2012 and Active Directory services administrator
Maintenance and management of Quest Active Roles server
Audit compliance and validation of security groups within Active Directory
Serve as subject matter expert on Quest Active Roles server, Quest Quick Connect
Interface with security and open systems teams on technical matters concerning Active Directory access control and authorization
Ensure Active Directory access control is in compliance with AIG Security Standards
Maintenance and management of Dell-Quest change auditor
Maintenance and management of Dell-Quest Reporting tool
Must have 3-5 years of experience in Power Shell scripting, T-SQL and .NET
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or other database platforms is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills
Knowledge of proper IT security procedures, positive customer interface skills
Ability to conduct research into application issues and products as required
Experience creating system architecture diagrams and writing comprehensive documentation
The candidate will be exposed to Quest Active Roles Server and other directory analysis tools (Quest Change auditor, Quest Reporter, Quick Connect for AD), and troubleshooting of user issues within Active Roles server environment.
