Vertical Lift military program in the world.
Bell's MV-75A aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sun setting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Army's assault capabilities. The MV-75 program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army’s tactical advantage infuture conflicts. Avionics Software TeamThis Software Engineer is responsible for developing a set of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Software Applications related to the control of air vehicle components for the Avionics software on the FLRAA program.
What you’ll be doing as a Software Engineer:- Development of air vehicle IMA Software Applications
- Development of High level and Low Level Requirements
- SysML modeling of software design
- Perform Configuration Management for developed software
- We are hiring at multiple levels of experience, with a minimum of 2+ years experience in developing embedded software, including hardware and software integration required. Aviation experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.
- Requires C or C++ experience in a Linux development environment
- Requires familiarity with software Dev Ops processes.
- Requires experience with Git version control system or change management systems.
- Ability to gain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance
- Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.
- Demonstrated Communication Skills needed to brief management, customers, and/or large groups on an occasional basis.
- You’ll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule
