Bell's MV-75 FLRAA aircraft will become the Army's primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sun setting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Army's assault capabilities. The MV-75 program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army’s tactical advantage infuture conflicts. Work location is Bell’s FRC facilities in Arlington, TX

This Software Engineer is responsible for developing a set of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Software Applications related to the control of air vehicle components for the Avionics software on the FLRAA program.

• Development of air vehicle IMA Software Applications
• Development of High level and Low Level Requirements
• SysML modeling of software design
• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Other Engineering degrees may be considered with applicable experience.
• Requires C or C++ experience in a Linux development environment
• Requires familiarity with software Dev Ops processes.
• Requires experience with Git version control system or change management systems.
• Ability to gain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance
• Must have the ability to prioritize tasks and work assignments
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.
• Demonstrated Communication Skills needed to brief management, customers, and/or large groups on an occasional basis.
