Who We Are Looking ForThe Test and Validation Engineer is responsible to oversee all project testing efforts and schedules, including the complete scope of testing, the timely execution of testing, and the coordination with needs and inputs from other departments. This is an experienced‑level position with no supervisory responsibility that reports to the Manager of Technical Services. This job operates in indoor settings, including office and warehouse/airplane hangar environments which require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines and safety gear.
WhatYou Will Do
- Plan and oversee all testing and validation activities for assigned projects.
- Maintain validation documentation and the Requirement Verification Matrix (RVM).
- Coordinate aircraft ground and flight tests and conduct test briefings.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Prepare technical, regulatory, and internal reports and presentations.
- Coordinate with internal teams on certification status, schedules, and changes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Follow company procedures, maintain documentation, and keep management informed of progress and issues.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of aircraft and/or DO‑160 component qualification testing experience.
- Proficient in full MS Office Suite.
- A demonstrated and extensive understanding of aircraft engineering and certification functions, procedures, standards and methods.
- Additional FAA or CAA Training and/or Seminars.
Occasional travel may be required (Less than 10%).
Work Authorization / Security ClearanceMust be able to work in the US without sponsorship legally.
