What You Will Be Doing

  • Define, review, and document engineering requirements for EOIR systems.
  • Coordinate with principal engineers, stakeholders, and customers to align specifications.
  • Plan, develop, integrate, and validate optical, infrared, and laser systems on fighter aircraft.
  • Prepare and deliver technical briefings to customers and senior leadership.
  • Support travel to national and international program sites for testing and meetings.

You are a collaborative, results‑oriented engineer with strong oral and written communication skills. You excel at organizing complex tasks, resolving issues quickly, and thriving in multi‑disciplinary teams that deliver cutting‑edge aerospace solutions.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Avionics, EW/CM, Radar, CNI, EO/IR Sensors or Fusion Systems.
  • Electro‑Optical Systems Engineering Development and Integration Skills.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Organizational skills – ability to oversee multiple tasks, identify and resolve conflicts, and keep projects on schedule.
Desired Skills
  • Laboratory, Field and Flight Test of Electro Optic, Infrared and/or Laser Systems experience on defense contracts.
  • Familiarity with engineering oversight of supplier(s).
  • Fundamental understanding of Electro Optic, Infrared, and/or Laser Systems with experience testing/troubleshooting sensors, sensor systems or avionics using various types of test equipment.
  • Professional and interpersonal communication skills required to interface with individuals from various disciplines while performing complex serial and parallel tasks required to successfully deliver support equipment products to our customer.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with highly complex and challenging electronic systems.
  • Problem solving and project planning experience.
  • Experience with Military or Government Programs.
  • Experience interfacing with customers and subcontractors.
  • Proposal technical leadership experience.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. The selected candidate must possess an active Interim Secret clearance to start. Clearance Level: Secret.

Location:

Fort Worth, TX. This is an onsite full‑time position.

Schedule:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
