Bridge Designer (EIT)

Benesch is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with 0 to 4 years of experience to join our Railroad Bridge team in Fort Worth, TX.

This position has a hybrid work schedule and, when in the office, will be based at our Fort Worth, TX office.

• Perform basic analysis and load development for project elements.
• Prepare organized structural calculations and design details.
• Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner.
• Execute tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned.
• Work independently under the guidance of a Project Manager.

• BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis or related discipline.
• MS in Civil Engineering preferred.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within one (1) year.
• Minimum one (1) year of structural design experience or relevant internship experience.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external clients.
• Detail-oriented with experience developing plans and specifications.
• Ability to perform complex analysis and design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Micro Station, Open Roads, or other relevant software.
• Ability to assemble a complete design package for assigned elements or projects.
