What You Will Be Doing

As the Associate Aeronautical Engineering Manager you will be responsible for blending strong technical expertise with effective people leadership to drive success on the F‑35 program.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Mentor and develop engineering talent, conducting performance assessments and career‑growth planning.

* Oversee administrative duties such as compensation, awards, and behavioral actions.

* Manage training activities and ensure team readiness for program milestones.

* Lead technical design work with the Design Team on harness and interconnect systems.

* Coordinate with the Airframe Subsystems organization to align deliverables with program objectives.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

* Team Lead Experience.

* Experience in subsystsem design and installation (Airframe Layout, Detail Part and Assembly, Harness Design).

* Experience with 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools such as CATIA, NX, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, 3DX, or equivalent.

* Bachelor's or above Degree from an accredited college in a related engineering discipline.

* Must be a US Citizen with active secret security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired

Skills:

* Management Experience.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Experience working F-35 or similar programs, development through sustainment.

* Experience interacting with customers and senior management.

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
