* You will be the Aeronautical Engineering Sr Stf for the F‑35 Subsystem Design Team which is responsible for delivering innovative subsystem solutions for the F‑35 fleet

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Aeronautical Engineering Sr Stf you will be responsible for leading the design and integration of aircraft subsystems, ensuring robust solutions across mechanical, electrical, and multi‑disciplinary domains

"Your responsibilities will include:"

+ Lead integration and design synthesis across multiple design teams

+ Perform electrical design, including system‑interface integration, wire harness, fiber‑optic harness, and coaxial cable definition

+ Create and maintain 3‑D CATIA models, assemblies, and related system‑requirement drawings

+ Conduct multi‑disciplinary system trade studies to optimize performance

+ Mentor early‑career engineers and champion One‑LM culture across cross‑functional teams

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical

Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, NX, or equivalent 3 D Computer Aided Design  CAD  tool

 Microsoft Office skills

 Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills

Skills:

* Experience with CATIA V5

Experience with metallic and composite design

Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing  GD&T

 PDM Tool Familiarization

** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits

** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
