You will be the Aeronautical Engineering Sr Stf for the F‑35 Subsystem Design Team which is responsible for delivering innovative subsystem solutions for the F‑35 fleet.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Aeronautical Engineering Sr Stf you will be responsible for leading the design and integration of aircraft subsystems, ensuring robust solutions across mechanical, electrical, and multi‑disciplinary domains.
"Your responsibilities will include:"
* Lead integration and design synthesis across multiple design teams.
* Perform electrical design, including system‑interface integration, wire harness, fiber‑optic harness, and coaxial cable definition.
* Create and maintain 3‑D CATIA models, assemblies, and related system‑requirement drawings.
* Conduct multi‑disciplinary system trade studies to optimize performance.
* Mentor early‑career engineers and champion One‑LM culture across cross‑functional teams.

Further Information About This Opportunity
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical
* Experience with 3DX, CATIA, Solidworks, Pro Engineer, Creo, Unigraphics, NX, or equivalent 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool
* Microsoft Office skills
* Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills
Desired
Skills:
* Experience with CATIA V5
* Experience with metallic and composite design
* Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
* PDM Tool Familiarization
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
