* You will be the Electro Optical Engineer for the Electro Optical Infrared  EOIR  Team which is responsible for

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Electro Optical Engineer you will be responsible for leading the integration of EOIR solutions within advanced aircraft programs

Your responsibilities will include:

+ Define, review, and document engineering requirements for EOIR systems

+ Coordinate with principal engineers, stakeholders, and customers to align specifications

+ Plan, develop, integrate, and validate optical, infrared, and laser systems on fighter aircraft

+ Prepare and deliver technical briefings to customers and senior leadership

+ Support travel to national and international program sites for testing and meetings

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

- Familiarity with Avionics, EW/CM, Radar, CNI, EO/IR Sensors or Fusion Systems

- Electro Optical Systems Engineering Development and Integration Skills

- Communication and presentation skills

- Organizational skills   ability to oversee multiple tasks, identify and resolve conflicts, and keep projects on schedule

** Desired

Skills:

*
* - Laboratory, Field and Flight Test of Electro Optic, Infrared and/or Laser Systems experience on defense contracts

- Familiarity with engineering oversight of supplier s  

- Fundamental understanding of Electro Optic, Infrared and/or Laser Systems with experience testing/troubleshooting sensors, sensor systems or avionics using various types of test equipment

- Professional and interpersonal communication skills required to interface with individuals from various disciplines while performing complex serial and parallel tasks required to successfully deliver support equipment products to our customer

- Demonstrated ability to deal with highly complex and challenging electronic systems

- Problem solving and project planning experience

- Experience with Military or Government Programs

- Experience interfacing with customers and subcontractors

- Proposal technical leadership experience
