Hardware Design Engineer Senior Staff (Simulation & System Labs, SSL)
You will be the Hardware Design Engineer Senior Staff for the Simulation & System Labs (SSL) F‑35 HW Design group which is responsible for developing and integrating Simulation HW Lab environments for F‑35 customers.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Hardware Design Engineer Senior Staff you will be responsible for designing, procuring, testing, and installing electronic hardware for Man‑In‑The‑Loop and Hardware‑In‑The‑Loop lab applications supporting F‑35 and ADP projects.
Responsibilities- Providing technical leadership for system integration lab projects, estimates, BOE's and new proposals.
- Performing system‑requirements analysis and power calculations.
- Designing and documenting electrical wiring, schematics, and 2‑D drawings for lab infrastructure.
- Coordinating with vendors, managing procurement, and overseeing HW fabrication and checkout.
- Integrating and troubleshooting lab hardware, including fiber‑optic, Ethernet, and bus interfaces.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering preferred).
- Experience with proposals.
- MS Office, MS Visio.
- Experience in Electronics equipment troubleshooting.
- Experience with Electronics design, assembly, and checkout.
- Experience with interpretation/development of Electrical Wiring Diagrams/Schematics and Parts Lists.
- Experience with APTS, BOE and/or ROM.
- EVMS basic knowledge and experiences.
- Experience with requirements analysis.
This position requires a U.S. Citizen and a government security clearance. Selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
LocationFort Worth, TX. The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
