Responsibilities- Lead and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of high‑power microwave (HPM) RF‑based systems.
- Conduct RF simulation analysis, antenna test data analysis, and captive flight test performance analysis to evaluate sensor and system performance.
- Perform RF requirements analyses, execute trade studies, and provide data‑driven recommendations during design reviews.
- Carry out rapid testing and troubleshooting to ensure robust design principles around Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E²).
- Define and shape program requirements using E² design guidelines and industry best practices.
- Plan, set up, and execute test events in accordance with MIL‑STD‑461/464, including instrumentation selection and test fixture creation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional and multi‑company teams, interfacing with suppliers, partners, and customers to balance competing priorities.
- Support environmental qualification testing (vibration, shock, thermal, radiation) and analyze results.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, requirements packages, and trade study reports.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum 3 years of professional experience in RF engineering or a related discipline.
