You will be the Skunk Works RF Engineer Staff for the Skunk Works team which is responsible for advanced antenna and RF system design and integration.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Skunk Works RF Engineer Staff you will be responsible for driving RF research, supporting IRAD and CRAD projects, and shaping technology roadmaps.
Your Responsibilities- Lead research and development of advanced antenna and RF system designs.
- Provide technical support to internal and contracted R&D projects.
- Define and influence RF technology development directions and roadmaps.
- Deliver concise technical presentations to customers and engineering teams.
- Maintain clear written and verbal communications across multidisciplinary groups.
You are an innovative RF engineer with extensive hands‑on experience in RF electronics and systems. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate complex concepts clearly, and are driven to shape the future of aerospace technology.
Further Information About This OpportunityMUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
- Extensive hands‑on experience with design and integration of RF electronics
- Strong background in the field of Electromagnetics and Radar Cross Section (RCS) reduction of RF Systems
- Excellent communication skills, as position requires interfacing with internal and external customers to report technical and scheduling status
- Experience leading teams and interfacing with external customers and basic project management skill sets desired
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active Secret Clearance desired
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $145,200 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
