- Subsystem Stress Analysis support is provided for the F-35 program, focusing on structural evaluation of routed wire harnesses, hydraulic tubing, and coolant line systems within the airframe. This role performs stress analysis, evaluates static strength, and assesses deflection to ensure system isolation and structural integrity across subsystems.

#Education & Job Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Mechanics required
* 15+ years of experience in stress analysis of subsystems, including structural attachment of routed harnesses and tubing
* 2+ years of experience developing, running, and validating finite element models using Hypermesh, Nastran, and Patran
* Experience working in collaborative engineering environments with strong interdisciplinary coordination
* Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
#Preferred Skills
* Microsoft Office Suite experience, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
* Excel-based mathematical calculation experience
* Macro development in Excel
* Familiarity with CATIA, 3DX, TMP Vision, and Mathcad
#Job Duties & Functions
* Stress analysis is performed on new and revised subsystem routing designs involving wire harnesses, hydraulic tubing, and coolant lines
* Static strength evaluation is conducted on brackets, clamps, shelves, and pressurized or welded tube assemblies
* Deflection behavior is assessed to maintain isolation between routed systems and surrounding structures
* Design teams are supported through requirement definition and design verification activities
* Classical engineering methods and finite element analysis tools are applied to structural evaluations
* Finite element models are developed and executed using Hypermesh, Nastran, and Patran
* Structural compliance of routed subsystem configurations within the F-35 airframe is verified
#Physical Requirements & Environment
* Work is performed in an onsite aerospace engineering environment
* A 4/10-A schedule is required
* Extended periods of computer-based engineering analysis are expected
* Standard engineering workstations and analysis tools are utilized
* Collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines is required
