What You Will Be Doing

As the Systems Engineer Staff you will be responsible for managing electronic hardware for Mission System products and applying systems‑engineering principles across the product lifecycle.

'Your responsibilities will include:'

* Manage electronic hardware development and integration for mission‑critical products.

* Apply systems‑engineering methods to subsystem design, testing, and verification.

* Collaborate with product development, electrical, and software teams to ensure cohesive solutions.

* Develop and execute test plans that validate hardware and software interfaces.

* Identify technical risks, drive corrective actions, and maintain documentation for compliance.

Further Information About This Opportunity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

* A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, related technical degree, or relevant work experience

* Experience with avionics product development

Desired

Skills:

* Past experience with processor hardware for military applications or avionics development is strongly desired.

* Technical Lead experience leading multiple team members with the development of processor hardware is a plus.

* Experience with leading a technical team in

avionics development is a plus.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office products including spreadsheet, scheduling and database applications

* Experience and aerospace related

education/background.

* System performance monitoring and evaluation experience.

* Experience in subcontract/supplier management

* Experience in project management

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
