Mechanical Engineering degree; open to other disciplines. As long as they have a strong background in manufacturing in a highly regulated field.

5+ years

• Formulate, deliver, and/or manage projects assigned to advance existing technology.
• Work with stakeholders to achieve desired results and mentor or direct lower‑level professionals when required.
• Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
• Arrange machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout.
• Define sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment, and other functions that affect product performance.
• Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
• Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
• Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, investigate problems, and initiate corrective action to ensure product quality.
• Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and related techniques.
• Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
• Ensure all processes and procedures comply with regulations.
• Deliver R&D, systems, or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies from design to implementation while adhering to policies and using specialized expertise.

• Individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty.
• Deliver and/or manage projects assigned and work with stakeholders to achieve desired results.
• Mentor colleagues or direct lower‑level professionals when appropriate.
• Spend the majority of the time delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation while adhering to policies and using specialized knowledge typically acquired through advanced education.
