Maintenance Planner
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Maintenance Planner role located in Fort Worth, TX. This role will be nested on site in a small chemical manufacturing facility and report directly to the Maintenance Manager. The responsibilities will primarily include:
* Creating basic job plans for site technicians (Mechanical & I/E). This includes ordering & managing parts as well as estimating scope and time
* Working with operations and maintenance to develop a weekly schedule based on resources available & site priority
* Managing work order backlog & updating preventative maintenance plans to keep site running reliably
* Identifying correct critical spare parts and updating SAP Bill of Materials
* Assisting with emergency work by providing guidance and expediting parts/services
* Identifying work requiring outside contractor assistance or rental equipment. Creating job scope, getting quote(s), getting approvals, and writing purchase requisitions. Coordinating outside contractor work as the site contact.
Qualifications
* Some hands on experience or technical knowledge in mechanical work such as millwright, pipe fitter, boilermaker, etc. or any I/E work is preferred
* Experience as a planner or expediter is preferred
* Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently
