Position Title: Junior Draft Engineer

The Junior Draft Engineer role is essential for supporting the design and development of HVAC systems. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage multiple projects while ensuring that deadlines are met. Junior Draft Engineer Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and drafting of HVAC systems
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers on project specifications
• Prepare and modify technical drawings using Revit software
• Conduct site visits and inspections as needed
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Junior Draft Engineer Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Draft Engineer
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC
• Mechanical design experience is required
• Proficiency in Revit software is required
• Experience working at an MEP firm
• Experience computing load calculations, size ducts, selecting air devices
• Experience in construction administration, taking construction submittals
• BA degree in Engineering, preferably in mechanical, architectural, or aerospace
• Experience with Trade Trace software is preferred
• Experience working with external stakeholders is preferred
• Project management experience is preferred
• EIT or PE license is preferred
