Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are seeking a Procurement Technical Expeditor to support manufacturing operations by ensuring the timely delivery of critical equipment, materials, and services while managing supplier performance from purchase order placement through final delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial manufacturing, EPC, energy, construction, mining, processing, or other heavy industrial environments and possess a strong understanding of supplier management, technical procurement, expediting, and project execution.
This role serves as a key liaison between engineering, procurement, operations, maintenance, logistics, and suppliers to ensure equipment and materials are delivered on time, meet technical requirements, and support production schedules and project milestones. The successful candidate will proactively identify risks, drive recovery plans, conduct supplier visits, and resolve issues that could impact project schedules or manufacturing operations.
Candidates should be comfortable reviewing technical specifications, engineering drawings, procurement documentation, quality requirements, and supplier schedules while managing multiple critical orders simultaneously.
A key requirement of this position is the ability to travel frequently, often on short notice. Supplier visits may be driven by emerging delivery risks, schedule concerns, quality issues, or project needs. The successful candidate must be flexible, responsive, and willing to travel as needed to supplier facilities to verify progress, remove obstacles, and ensure on-time delivery of critical equipment and materials.
