Join the F-35 final assembly Production Engineering team, where innovation meets precision. As a Manufacturing Engineer Associate, you will bring expertise and independence to solve complex manufacturing challenges. This dynamic role bridges shop floor operations and engineering solutions, ensuring seamless production of one of the most advanced fighter jets in the world.

What You Will Be Doing

* Collaborate directly with the shop floor to resolve real-time build cycle issues.

* Address non-conformance issues, design and troubleshoot tooling, and execute root cause/corrective actions.

* Coordinate with engineering and other support groups to ensure timely issue resolution.

* Maintain build documentation, including Manufacturing Plans, Tooling Requirements Forms, and Corrective Action Plans.

* Identify and implement improvement opportunities, designing and developing creative solutions to optimize processes.

* Partner with teams such as MRB, Production Control, Quality Engineering, and other manufacturing engineering groups.

* Support overtime activities as needed to meet production goals.

Who You Are

* Collaborate with shop floor operators and support teams to address real-time production issues.

* Assist in resolving non-conformances, troubleshoot tooling issues, and implement root cause/corrective actions.

* Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate solutions with engineering and other departments.

* Maintain build documentation, including Manufacturing Plans, Tooling Requirements Forms, and Corrective Action Plans.

* Design and improve tooling to support production needs.

* Thrive in a fast-paced production environment, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion.

Fort Worth, TX

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

Basic Qualifications:

* Engineering degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

* Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and principles

Desired

Skills:

* Previous aircraft experience

* Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling systems, such as VAS or CATIA.

* Demonstrated hands on capability

* Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment.

* Demonstrated proficiency with MS office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
