Mission Data File Release; MDFR Operations Lead - Level 4

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer for the F‑35 Mission Data File Release (MDFR) project. The role supports lab operations encrypting MDFs for lab test activities, manages MDF encryption for flight test operations, assists with shift duties, and refines encryption and release processes to meet Security, Export, and Foreign Disclosure requirements.

• Support the MDFR team in encrypting MDFs during lab test activities.
• Assist with lab shift operations as needed.
• Manage MDF encryption that directly supports flight test operations.
• Refine encryption and release processes to meet all applicable security and export requirements.
• Communicate concerns and assist with root‑cause analysis.
• Assist with MDFR software deployment operations and provide hands‑on assistance with end‑user installation and operation.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a government Secret clearance prior to start.

Desired Skills

• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining front‑end and back‑end software for microservices or service‑oriented architecture.

Clearance level required:
Secret. This position requires a government security clearance.

Schedule:

4×10‑hour day, 3 days off per week. Onsite full‑time.
