Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a fulltime Early Career Hardware Engineer. In this role, you will help lead hardware build projects for our Systems and Simulation Test Lab environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the efforts fabricating, integrating, and testing the electronic test rack and various subsystems required to support customer requirements.
-Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design engineers to review drawings, wire routing lists, and project scope.
-Develop detailed build plans, generate engineering estimates, and create project schedules.
-Lead the technician team through daily tasking, build execution, and integration of rack hardware.
-Track cost and schedule performance, attend status meetings, and report metrics to internal and external customers.
-Adapt to dynamic R&D requirements, supporting capital R&D projects and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline. Preferred majors include Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong project management and organizational skills. Understanding of fabrication and assembly processes for electrical and mechanical hardware systems. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, schedules, and technical activities in a team environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
