Role DescriptionWe are seeking a mid‑level Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team. This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Fort Worth, TX. The Fire Sprinkler Designer will be responsible for creating detailed sprinkler system designs, producing submittal and installation drawings, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Regular tasks include utilizing design software, collaborating with project managers, coordinating with field teams and contractors, and ensuring accuracy in hydraulic calculations and bill of materials.
Qualifications- Experience in Fire Sprinkler System Design, including creating submittal drawings and installation designs.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD or Sprink
CAD. - Knowledge of NFPA codes and local fire protection regulations.
- Skills in hydraulic calculations, material takeoffs, and bill of materials preparation.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with various teams.
- NICET certification in Water‑Based System Layout (Level II or higher) is preferred.
- Relevant college coursework or a degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field is beneficial.
- A commitment to safety and detail‑oriented work.
