RCS Model Design Engineer

You will be the RCS Model Design Engineer for the team which is responsible for designing and integrating Low Observable (LO) components and test articles, including full‑scale models.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Deliver engineering documentation, CAD drawings, and support integration and testing efforts across multiple disciplines.
  • Assist in design, development, and testing of RCS materials, components, and full‑scale models for program objectives and RF testing.
  • Use CATIA to develop and revise drawings, models, assemblies, and installation engineering CAD files.
  • Support team members with design and manufacturing knowledge and experience.
  • Complete design modifications to improve product quality or facilitate manufacturing operations.
  • Plan integration efforts for components and test articles.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, RF Engineering or related field.
  • Project management or leadership experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Will travel frequently (over 50 days per year) to manufacturing and test facilities in California.
  • Experience with CATIA or similar CAD software.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with different manufacturing methods, composites, and 3D printing.
  • Aircraft production support, processes, and coating experience.
  • Creative problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience integrating materials, components, or technologies onto air vehicle platforms.
  • Experience with coatings, integration, application, standards, methods, and testing.
  • Experience with RF or LO range testing and material testing, measurements, and integration onto physical platforms.
  • Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience managing projects, including gathering technical requirements, generating estimates and proposals, and executing to schedules and budgets.
Location & Travel

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. Position requires ability to obtain a Secret clearance and to travel frequently (50+ days per year) to facilities in California.
