Aeronautical Engineer Sr – Fort Worth Thermodynamics Team

You will be the Aeronautical Engineer Sr for the Fort Worth Thermodynamics team responsible for advancing aircraft thermal performance and reliability.

• Perform Thermal Structural Analysis to ensure integrity under extreme conditions.
• Conduct Bay Ventilation Analysis for optimal airflow and temperature control.
• Develop and validate Environmental Control Systems (ECS) and Power & Thermal Management Systems (PTMS).
• Design and test Thermal Management Systems (TMS) for aircraft subsystems.
• Integrate, test, and qualify Thermal Avionics for mission‑critical performance.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience applying thermal science principles, tools, and processes in real‑world engineering or research environments.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN.
• Clearance Level: Secret.
• Experience with test engineering, instrumentation, data collection, and/or test reports.
• Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers and senior management.
• Advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (desired).
• Active Secret Clearance (desired).
• Proficiency with the following analysis software:

• MATLAB/Simulink
• Siemens Amesim
• Siemens Simcenter 3D Thermal

Work Location:

Onsite Full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule:

4x10‑hour day, 3 days off per week.
