What You'll Do:
- Assist with field investigations, including soil and rock sampling, drilling oversight, and groundwater monitoring
- Collect and interpret geologic and environmental data through field observations, measurements, and testing
- Prepare logs, maps, and figures to support technical reports
- Perform data analysis and assist in drafting reports, proposals, and recommendations
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols in field and lab settings
- Support senior staff in evaluating geologic hazards and site conditions
- Maintain accurate field records and documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to conduct fieldwork with some heavy lifting
- Proficient with MS Office suite of products
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to travel 90% of the time
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications of the candidate as it relates to the position description
