Principal, Integrated Program Planner
- Aero Cart PP&I SME
- Level 6
Join the Aero PP&I Central Analysis Reporting & Training (CART) Team! We are seeking a highly experienced Principal SME in Program Planning and Integration (PP&I) to drive excellence across our programs, focusing on the Aero initiative, APEX, to establish a Growth Mindset culture.
Key Responsibilities- Provide planning/scheduling technical support and reporting to the Aero CART team PP&I Manager.
- Serve as the key expert between LOBs, BAs, IPPC, and the IPP COE.
- Develop and implement solutions for complex planning and scheduling issues using advanced analytical techniques.
- Identify and mitigate risks, make decisions on planning and scheduling approaches, and evaluate trade‑offs.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and drive process improvements as a liaison between Aeronautics Central Team and LOB Senior Planning SMEs.
- Communicate planning and scheduling requirements and best practices to program management, engineering, and other stakeholders.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to achieve program planning and scheduling excellence.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and obtain a Secret clearance (no clearance required to start).
- Typically 18 – 20 years of professional experience in program planning and integration.
- Degree in Construction Management, Program Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with networked schedules, integrity checks, and critical path methodology.
- Experience with Schedule Performance Management techniques, including Earned Value Management.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Previous experience with Deltek Open Plan.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with industry, Aero, and LM corporate planning policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Part‑time remote telework (employee teleworks < 50 % of the time).
- Work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility, with the specific weekly schedule discussed during hiring.
- Employee must be located near a major LM Aero site.
- Salary range (varies by location): $131,500 – $231,840.
