WhatYou Will Be Doing
Test Engineer:
The F-35 Manufacturing Test Engineering (MTE) organization hiring three level E2 positions. These positions directly support the F-35 Factory Production line, which is a 24/7 operation. These positions are located at a facility that requires special access and require clearance as indicated below. These positions are 100% on site.
Must be able to work the schedules indicated. Schedules will be discussed during interviews.
2nd shift Mon‑Fri (1 position)
3rd shift for either 4x10B Tues‑Fri or 5x40 Mon‑Fri (1 position)
3x12 Extended Day Shift, Fri‑Sun (1 position)
The engineer must possess either broad Vehicle Systems expertise, including Power and Thermal Management, Hydraulic and Utility Actuation, Fuel, Electrical Systems and related domains. They will assist with deployment of MTE computerized test equipment on the Integrated Factory Framework (IFF) LMI network. These positions require Interim Secret clearance or Secret clearance to start. The engineer must possess broad Mission Systems expertise, including Integrated Core Processing, Electronic Warfare (EW), Communication and Navigation Identification (CNI), Radar, Panoramic Cockpit and Helmet Displays, OFP loading, Weapons, Prognostics & Health Management (PHM), Flight Controls, coaxial cable, fiber optics, electrical wiring, and related domains.
This position requires Secret clearance to start.
- Supporting Factory Operations from Forward through Final Assembly with system testing and troubleshooting dispositions.
- Working as part of a larger team responsible for the testing of all F-35 Aircraft Systems & Sub-Systems.
- Test equipment design, development, test maintenance and training for users of test equipment.
- Authoring & maintaining complex System Checkout Procedures (SCOPs) for use by Production Operations.
- Working with other MTEs and Enterprise IT to deploy MTE computerized systems on the Integrated Factory Framework LMI network.

Basic Qualifications- Working-level experience with LM Tools including SFM, PDM, JEDI, JDL and Microsoft Office.
- F-35 vehicle and electrical systems experience and willingness to learn new skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to communicate with peers, internal and external customers, management, and production technicians daily.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline.
- Able to successfully participate in a fast‑paced test environment & make difficult decisions under pressure.
- Able to learn quickly, enjoy challenges, work independently & as part of a team.
- Programming, IT or network experience.
- Computer hardware maintenance and repair.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
