Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Quality Engineer II with our medical device client in Fort Worth, TX. This is a 14-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Description:Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
- Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
- Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
- Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
- Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
- May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
- Completed Bachelor's Degree
- CAPA management
- Conduct Root Cause Investigation Analysis
- NCMR disposition
- Senior Quality Engineering - Consultant
- Experience with Medical Device or another highly regulated industry
- Experience in Problem Solving / Lean Six Sigma
- Experience in Statistical Methods or Data Analysis
- Experience in Process Validation
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective English verbal and written technical communication and presentation skills
- ASQ CQE, CQA certification is a plus
