Project Engineer Sr - F-35 for the F-35 Airframe Control Surfaces and Edges Design Team, responsible for delivering cutting‑edge capabilities to domestic and international customers.
What You Will Be DoingGuide the airframe control‑surface and edges design effort from concept through production, retrofit, upgrades, and repairs.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to define airframe control‑surface requirements and design solutions.
- Develop and validate engineering approaches for production, retrofit, and upgrade programs.
- Manage technical documentation and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions for design issues.
- Support test planning, execution, and data analysis for airframe modifications.

Qualifications- Project Management or Project Engineering experience
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management concepts and application
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including Access, Excel, and Project
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Civil Engineering
- Configuration Management experience
- Familiarity or experience with FAR, Part 15 (TINA) compliant proposal requirements
- Functional estimating experience in engineering, materials, operations, and/or Sustainment
- Experience using proposal pricing systems or BOE tools such as PROPRICER, APTS, or other BOE tools
- Experience with PDM, Catia, VAS
- Experience with Engineering Bill of Material (EBOM) product structure
- Experience in Tableau
- Proven communication and leadership skills
- Experience in Earned Value Management
Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain a Secret clearance. This position requires a government security clearance.
